Transferring Your List and Automations
During onboarding, we ensure your OneText account is synced with your tools. If you come from another SMS provider, we will make sure that your subscriber list is ported to OneText. We only port numbers explicitly marked as consented to receive SMS, and you are responsible for compliance with your SMS list.
Transferring Your Phone Number
If you are attached to your current phone number, you can bring your number with you to OneText. Here’s how we manage the number porting:1
Initial Consultation
Let our sales and / or success team know that you want to migrate your phone number to OneText, including the desired date and time for the port.
2
Letter of Authorization (LOA)
We will send you an LOA to sign, and we’ll ask you to send us the most recent invoice (within the last 30 days) from your current provider to initiate the migration process.
3
Communication with Your Current Provider
We will draft the necessary communication for you to inform your current provider about the migration to expedite approval of the port request.
4
Scheduling the Port
We will coordinate with our providers and your current SMS provider to honor the port date and time you shared with us.
5
Day of the Port
On the scheduled day, our team will work to ensure there is no downtime.
